IGNOU BCom Course Details
IGNOU offers bachelor of commerce at undergraduate level in ODL mode. It is available for minimum duration of 3/4 years and maximum duration of 6-8 years. This program aimed at developing students analytical, financial, accounting and managerial skills. IGNOU is presently delivering BCOM programs in Hindi and English medium only. It conducts yearly wise examinations and conducts admission in the months of January and July. Students have to pay IGNOU BCOM course fee of INR 4,800/- per year. Bachelor of commerce is offered under the school of management studies. IGNOU offers BCOM under FYUP schemes. Students have to obtain 20 credits per semester.
Eligibility Criteria For IGNOU BCom Admission
Students must have required eligibility criteria to get admission to bachelor of commerce program in IGNOU. Since the program is using Hindi and English as main medium students are required to have proficiency in both languages. To be eligible for BCOM admission, students need to pass their 10+2 examination or equivalent form a recognized educational board with any discipline. University has not prescribed any age limitation, so, individuals of any age group can apply. IGNOU does not conduct any entrance examination for BCOM program hence, admission will be based on merit scores obtained in qualifying examination(10+2).

IGNOU BCom admission process will start soon for the January 2026 academic session. Students are advised to read all the instructions and necessary steps regarding the IGNOU BCOM application process for 2026.

- Step 2: Register with phone number and email ID.
- Step 3: Create your User Name and Password for you.
- Step 4: Log in using your User Name and Password.

IGNOU Term End Examination
Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts term-end examinations twice in the year -june and december. The TE-Exam is conducted at various examination centers spread across the country and abroad. Only those learners who have met the following condition can appear for TEE. First, the required number of assignments are submitted before due time, registration of the course is valid and not time barred, minimum course duration is complete and examination fee of INR 200 (per theory course)has been paid. Examination fee once paid can not be refunded. Examination forms have to be filled and submitted online, and students have to apply fresh for each examination.
